CERP Project Plans
(September 2025 Update)

The AB 617 Program provides new funding resources for various emissions reduction strategies to promote public health and reduce air emissions in communities that are disproportionately burdened by air pollution.  Together with our Community Steering Committee (CSC) for the El Centro-Heber-Calexico Corridor, various mitigation strategies were adopted in the Community Emissions Reduction Program (CERP) for the Corridor, and AB 617 funds are available to implement these strategies.  The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has approved the following Project Plans for four (4) mitigation strategies that will benefit the Corridor (per Chapter 6 of the 2024 Community Air Protection (CAP) Program Guidelines):
